A Family Tradition

It's a family tradition that began in 1886 when William Wolf came from Germany to America. With a blend of special spices and seasonings, William created a hardtac and summer sausage that has remained a family recipe for over 100 years. William's son Howard decided to capitalize on the popular sausages and sold them in his grocery store in the small town of Eustis, Nebraska.

After acquiring his dad’s grocery business in 1985, Gregg Wolf added polish sausage and brats to the product line. In 2008, and still maintaining a family tradition, Gregg’s cousin Deb Wolf Breinig and her husband C. Douglas Breinig have joined forces as Lone Wolf Wurst Meats, LLC to make their product nationally known.

With choice lean beef, lean pork and that blend of special spices and seasonings created over 100 years ago on William Wolf’s family farm, Gregg, Deb and Doug want everyone to enjoy their “best” wurst around.
